Translation Danish-FrenchState-authorised translators possess an in-depth knowledge of cultural and linguistic differences between Denmark and France which we employ when translating a text into French. In French, for example, formal language and more words are used when being polite than would be the case in Danish. Therefore, we will make suggestions for changes if encountering wordings that could be misinterpreted by a Frenchman. We use the Trados translation tool for most assignments. While translating, Trados creates a database of sentences and words contained in the individual customer’s text. Thus, any given word (term) will be translated in the same way, not only within the specific text, but also between assignments. Besides being efficient, this also ensures a high level of quality in the translation. A native translator normally proofreads translations into French of e.g. printed matter and web site texts.
